ROTARY'S 4-WAY TEST
of the things we think say or do...

  1. Is it the truth?
  2. Is it fair to all concerned?
  3. Will it build good will and better friendships?
  4. Will it be beneficial to all concerned?

We just completed the 25th year of the Goldcoast Clubs existence and are looking forward to what will be accomplished during the next quarter century.

Our Scholarship Fund is fully endowed and provides monetary support to several local college students each year.  The program is a source of great pride for the charter members of our club who had a vision of encouraging young men and women to study hard and become leaders in our community.  This is the fourth year of our commitment to a Pediatric Treatment Room at the Cape Coral Hospital Emergency Room. Our goal is to complete this goal in less time than we had pledged.

Our Fun Night event continues to provide funds to our local charities besides being a “rowdy good time” for all.  Our “fun guys” gave the club a good shot in the arm this past year by bringing to our evening a venue for a Texas Hold-em tournament.  The evening was very successful and well attended.  We need to top this next March 24th when we go at it again.  To get in practice, we will be working a casino night with Ida Baker High School on September 24th.

We will continue to provide a community needed medical service with our Blood Screening Day in early spring, our donations to the local food bank, our RIF programs at Caloosa Elementary and the distribution of dictionaries throughout the cape.  We participate in several other community and international projects during the year.

Evenings at the Bike Night and the Coconut Festival are always fun and provides us the opportunity to help here at home and in the international world. Thus, we are exercising the international theme of our President Kalyean Beneijee, “Reach within to Embrace Humanity”.

Come visit our very happy and active club, you’ll be glad you did.
